Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our 50+ software development company located in Kolkata. The right person will be a motivated individual who is willing to be flexible and able to handle a variety of responsibilities.

Brief Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be joining a team of Ruby on Rails developers and layout the architecture of new applications to be built
  • Understand and support our existing applications and architecture the Development of new modules using TDD methodologies
  • Develop new websites/modules in ROR and understand requirements and propose the best solution
  • Write high quality code using best practices. Identify Test cases and write unit tests (Rspecs)
  • Follow TDD and complete tasks within deadlines
  • Research new technologies like Amazon IOT and check in bug free code in GIT

Skills: R On R Developer Will Be Expected To Be Proficient In The Following:

  • 2+ Years of experienceinRuby on Rails.
  • Proven experience in developing large scale web applications with R on R and MVC.
  • Proven experience with AJAX, JSON and web front end technologies.
  • RSpecandTDDexperience.
  • PostgreSQLexpertise and experience withHeroku
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with great attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and an analytical mind

Qualification: Candidates must have a BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/BSc or equivalent

Compensation: As per industry standards and not a constraint for the right candidate.
