JOB TITLE: Application Developer

What You Will Do

• The Application Developer is a collaborative team player who has willingness to learn and improve Reporting application and contributes to team s success:
• Contributes to an open agile culture that enables employees development through kind and candid feedback, promotes diverse perspectives and fosters a sense of curiosity and optimism
• Ensures the team meets and exceeds short-term and long-term strategic priorities by collaborating with global technology teams located in Chicago and India
• Collaborates with architects and development leads to identify priorities and build a strategic, client-centered solution
• Ensures compliance and identifies and escalates risks, with an eye toward change control procedures and data security

Key Knowledge and Skills

• As an Application Developer, you must have experience with majority of the following skills-
• A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of React JS, Html 5, CSS, Bootstrap, Java script (advanced) , NodeJS, ESX 6, Maven.
• Should be well versed with Devops (CI and CD), Agile, Cloud deployment (Any cloud), Git (pull request).
• Experience in Single page application (SPA),
• Experience with Node, Webpack, and NPM libraries.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

• Work portfolio (applications, code samples) that demonstrates systematic and creative development thinking as well as a very deep understanding of UI development best practices.

The following nice-to-haves represent just a few of the other experiences that may be relevant to this position:

• Having Redux and other UI FW s are added advantage.
• Experience in financial services

• Experience working effectively with diverse groups around the world, including IT management, technology staff, business partners, consultants, vendors and clients

Experience using Tomcat and Docker/Kubernetes
