Job Description (DevOps)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for build-out, configuration, deploy, scale, orchestration, and monitoring in supporting infrastructure and our release pipeline for global commercial software platforms.Candidate should be eager to learn new diverse tools and technologies. Candidate must be comfortable in driving Continuous Integration / Deployment initiatives in the cloud. Senior DevOps Engineer role will require an applicant to have a proven 4-8 years of experience with DevOps background in building automation for enterprise grade applications.

Specific skill sets are as follows:

Have a broad DevOps and Infrastructure background with experience of working as a senior DevOps lead role and will have recently worked in technical roles in large scale Cloud (Private and/or Public) deployments (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS - using Kubernetes and GCP Cloud provider)
Have Source control and repository systems experience, different branching and merging strategies and how these can be applied in an enterprise
Strong hands-on on GCP, APIGEE and Kubernetes with expertise troubleshooting skills and expertise in writing helm charts
Strong in writing shell/bash/python scripting
Hands-on experience in Jenkins or similar tool with groovy scripting.
Deep knowledge of automation technologies Ansible, Terraform and other configuration management tools,
Experience of designing, planning and building enterprise scale solutions, ability to drive and implement DevOps practices and technologies
Experience in implementing monitoring and logging solutions for GCP environments, including ones in a containerized environment
Experience with container technologies (Docker)
Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Consul & Vault is good to have
