Job Summary

Overview:

He/she should possess in-depth knowledge on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and good level of understanding on the Adobe Marketing Cloud products such as the Campaign, Analytics, Target and Audience Manager. The solution architect will also be a hands-on expert as a lead developer, spearhead the technical design and architecture, including leveraging his/her business acumen to develop the right, scalable and user centric digital experience that yields measurable ROI for all clients. The Solution Architect will manage the overall end-to-end solutioning of a AEM client project, working with key stakeholders, and partner vendors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design modern technical architecture and solution on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Validate the technical feasibility and co-design solutions with the Experience Design team
  • Help the Project Managers and the Business teams in AEM project cost estimation
  • Lead and develop on Adobe Experience Manager 6.x above and Java frameworks (Eg. Spring, Struts, Hibernate), as well as front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS
  • Develop technical documentation of the solution (FSD, Deployment documentation, etc.)
  • Familiar and work with service-oriented architecture (SOA) technologies
  • Manage the technical environment of the solution (E.g. infrastructure, Hosting Environments)
  • Conform and manage source code control guidelines
  • Lead and ensure the quality of the solution by driving and performing quality assurance duties
  • Manage the AEM vendors and freelancers
  • Plan timelines and development milestones with the Project Managers
  • Works with the Project Managers mitigate technology / development related risks

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 7 years in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Version 6.x)
  • At least 2 years in an AEM lead role
  • At least 4 years in software development and/or similar organization, preferably from a consulting firm
  • Good knowledge on Adobe upgrade and CMS migration process
  • Strong experience in modern Web/Mobile development techniques and best practices
  • Development on AEM version 6 and above, including component, template, workflow, dialog, and bundles and DAM
  • Java Content Repository (API) suite, Sling web framework and Apache Felix OSGi framework
  • AEM performance and security setup and fine-tuning, including Dispatcher setup/configuration
  • Development on SOA Frameworks (SOAP, Restful)
  • Unit Testing and the use of code coverage metrics
  • Build management using Ant or Maven2
  • Experience with Front-End technologies (HTML/JS/CSS) such as Angular or React JS
  • Familiarity with source code control systems (E.g. SVN, GIT)
  • Familiarity with task tracking systems (E.g. Jira, Redmine)
  • Good understanding of quality processes and standards
  • Good communication skills including ability to influence and communicate to internal teams
