Job Summary
- Develops and drives the sales strategy for the retail channel in line with the organizational objectives and the retail business plan;
- Manages and achieves sales volume, value and growth targets of an entire state or multiple depots within a state;
- Designs and implements effective trade schemes to drive product sales;
- Tracks competition activities and local market trends and adopts appropriate interventions in the market to counter the same;
- Expands the retail footprint of Berger in the market by continuously developing and cultivating new customers (dealers / distributors);
Required Candidate profile
- Excellent communication skills
- Achievement orientation and a drive for results
- Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Analytical approach and a high level of comfort with data
- Ability to coach and motivate team members
- MBA in Sales & Marketing
- Minimally 12 - 16 years of progressive experience in channel sales in the consumer industry, with at least 5 years in the paints industry
- Familiarity with the UP / Uttarakhand or other North Indian markets preferred
- Full working proficiency in both Hindi and English
