Plant Operations Manager_shameerpet Job in Bayer

• Responsible for operations of Driers and Processing Plants (Parent seed and Toller) and their storage in Shameerpet.
• Partners in community and sustainability engagements in around Shameerpet site.
• Ensures all operations are compliant to internal Bayer requirements and local regulations.
• Successfully execute /deploy digital innovations & new initiatives in plant operations, (AM2020-One PSS)
• Manages Tollers , external , internal stakeholder relations with effective communication , alignment between supply and business strategies.
• Plans drier operations , delivery of pack plans with detailed scheduling to enable business needs while meeting plant operations metrics.
• Accountable for Raw seed Inventory of both commercial and foundation and non-seed inventory (packing &seed treatment chemicals) materials , plan storage(both Ambient and cold store) .
• Ensure seed quality at storage, processing and packing. Submit samples for periodic quality testing.
• Responsible for minimizing the seed and non-seed inventory write offs, manage cost, support in achieving financial KPIs.
• Responsible contract man power plan for RC Plant operations at Shameerpet.
• Adherence, implementation and input into Plant operations HSE standards to meet targets and internal &external audit requirements& SOPs meet BCSs HSE and Quality standards at all times.
• Focus on talent development by creating an environment that fosters employee growth, an atmosphere of teamwork and in proving a safe work environment with high standards of engagement.

Required Candidate profile

Masters or equivalent degree with8-10 years of experience in Seed Manufacturing or Production
