The Industry & Energy Technology (IET) part of Baker Hughes Company operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors, and expanders.
As a Senior Contract Performance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a trusted advisor to customers for timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns.
- Assuring timely resolution of issues keeping the customer advised of the progress of the project and negotiating changes variations and solutions to any issue arising.
- Performing as an interface between the customer and internal business team, communicating across different levels of the organization; and managing the transfer of information and requests.
- Adhering to contract service, operations, performance specifications as well as financial and technical metrics specific to the contract
- Performing proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals/contracts with minimal supervision
- Presenting product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior management within the company
- Managing complex processes requires the involvement of many stakeholders both on the client side and internally.
- Handling latitude in project techniques. The project process requires choosing the right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.
- Handling diverse clients in India. Follows frameworks to get through the processes. There is room for negotiating and client-specific conditions.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a bachelor s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
- Have minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
- Have experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment industry.
- Have fluency in English.
- Be able to work and communicate well with others across different levels of the organization.
- Have willingness to travel as required.
