Job Summary Job Purpose To ideate & create suitable interactions & designs for various requirements for the assigned products. Work with internal domain experts like CX Analysts, UX Writers & UX POs to create creative and user-friendly visual solutions. Give feedback to designs coming in from the satellite design teams sitting with the COE teams. Work with the testing team to try out new designs and create new industry benchmarks using data-based designs. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Creating inspirational visual designs keeping our design language in mind as a base template 2. Making sure your creations look good on all screen sizes with an understanding of responsive scaling and grid structures 3. To be able to make stunning designs, you need an awareness of Colors, Typography, Layout & composition, spacing, materials & textures and a great aesthetic sense 4. Adding micro interactions to your concepts can help launch them over the line 5. Knowing the limitations that our tech team works with, will help your designs go all the way much faster. 6. There s a lot of great stuff happening out there everyday! Keeping up to date with it will help you stay on the top of your game. 7. To be a project/track owner, you need to be decisive and good at absorbing critical feedback. 8. You will need help to achieve your targets, and for that you need to be able to scout, rear, manage and guide vendor teams. 9. You will help your team meet their potential by planning their Goals and KRAs to keep everyone on their sharp and ever ready. 10. Evolving, upgrading and maintaining a design system is a very important part of both a Design ecosystem, and your responsibilities 11. Understanding the business landscape, goals and the design requirements associated with it 12. Understanding the customer behavior, needs and challenges faced by them 13. Benchmarking online journeys with competitors and define best user experience for our product 14. Mapping business requirements to design solutions 15. Documenting requirements received via user stories or stakeholder meetings 16. Planning and prioritizing for multiple ongoing requirements 17. Managing stakeholders and their expectations from time to time Key Decisions / Dimensions 1. Decisions regarding planning of individual bandwidth and task prioritization 2. Decisions on design solutioning for requirements 3. Decisions regarding user experience journey 4. Decisions on visual and usability options for requirement Major Challenges 1. Cross functional teams not responding on time thus impacting project delivery deadline 2. Frequent changes in requirements, leading to rework 3. Ad-hoc requirements from different stakeholders impacting planned tasks Required Qualifications and Experience Qualifications B.Des/M.des from a recognized design school or equivalent practical experience in visual/digital designing and frontend development Or 4-5 years of experience working as a Visual/Interaction Designer. Work Experience 3-4 years of experience working as a Visual/Interaction Designer. The main focus of the experience should have been on Visuals, Interactions, Aesthetics & Usability. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX/Product teams (motion, interaction, UX research, etc.) on technical implementation Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in a software development environment Preference given to candidates who have worked at tech firms and in large corporate format environments
Qualification :
B.Des/M.des from a recognized design school or equivalent practical experience in visual/digital designing and frontend development Or 4-5 years of experience working as a Visual/Interaction Designer.
