Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Plan design outsourcing activity for the research and development department
• Identify, evaluate, assess, liaison with external consulting organizations towards executing design service projects
• Collaborate with Industrial Design,Product Engineering teams and consulting organizations
• Drive multiple projects meeting cost and quality targets of the projects
• Analyse and report the performance and health of projects
• Maintain, manage and resolve issues with respect to projects
• Effectively communicate intent, progress and challenges of projects
• Set up process for design outsourcing and deploy in actual projects
• Troubleshoot techno-commercial matters with respect to concerns from various stakeholders
• Evaluate scopes, changes of scope with respect to projects and ensure smooth addressal of such instances in project execution

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled design project management specialist who will setup and maintain the design outsourcing process. He should be able to evaluate, scale up and down the outsourcing resources basis project need from time to time. He should be able to understand design issues on table and provide direction towards resolution of any conflict if arises between various internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualification: BE Mechanical / M Tech Mechanical Design

Requirement PMP Knowledge

Experience: 12 To 16 years of total experience

Industry Preference: Experience in design outsourcing consulting organizations like TCS, HCL, Tata Technologies, Tata Elxsi,
