Senior Ui Designer & Ux Strategist Job in Axelerant Technologies, Inc

As Axelerant s Senior UI Designer & UX Strategist, you'll help us make design and user experience (UX) at the forefront of everything we do. You llenvision how people experience our deliverables and bring their vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined, and even magical. You ll take on complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use designs for people around the world from the first-time user to the sophisticated expert.

Achieving this goal requires collaboration with teams of Designers, Researchers, Engineers, and Product Managers throughout the design process from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes. At each stage, you will anticipate what our users need, advocate for them, and ensure that the final product surprises and delights them.

Responsibilities:

• Empathize with customer s requirements
• Conduct and synthesize user research. You'll use customer interviews, data analysis, and competitive research to understand our user's needs and relate to their unique challenges.
• Lead our user-centered design process. You'll represent the voice of users as you work with product and engineering leaders to develop innovative solutions that aim to put customers first.
• Bring designs to life. You'll create wireframes, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate your designs from concept to final implementation.
• Measure results. You'll use reporting tools to understand the impact of your designs and discover future ideas based on user feedback.
• Work with many stakeholders to support UX and UI design needs for Axelerant and its clients
• Design the overall product functionality
• Iteratively improve user experiences

Requirements:

• 6+ years of relevant UX/UI experience in leading design processes balancing user experience, business needs, and technical feasibility
• 2+ years of working in a consulting or agency environment with enterprise-level clients
• An outstanding portfolio. Your expertise shines through your examples. Your portfolio showcases your foundation in data visualization, visual design, interaction design, and mobile user experience.
• Experience with modern UX design tools. You can do amazing things with design tools such as Adobe CC, Axure, Balsamiq, Framer, InVision, OmniGraffle, Sketch, and UXPin.
• Technical chops. You should be familiar with HTML/CSS/JS and be able to work with our developers, as well as implement code yourself, as you both use these languages to realize your designs.
• Great communication skills. You are an experienced data-focused storyteller with excellent communication skills who loves working directly with teammates to implement your work.
