Senior Technical Specialist - Performance Testing & Engineering Job in Avekshaa Technologies

Key Technical Skills

Deliver projects and execute tasks in all aspects to Performance Engineering including Systems analysis, Performance validation (profiling, tuning, workload simulation, benchmarking testing), Capacity Planning, Application Performance Monitoring and bottleneck analysis.

Strong experience in JMeter and/or one of the open source applications.

Design test plans and test scripts for API, Web, and Mobile performance needs by using the Tools like Jmeter or any open source tool.

Scripting the creation and mining of data for load testing.

REST API testing

Prior experience working in environments

Experience in cloud platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift are a plus.

Experience in using NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems such as Redis, Kafka, Couchbase, Cassandra in the context of low latency and high transaction volume systems.

Container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

Databases like oracle experience is an added advantage

At least 1 years experience automating performance tests, ideally as part of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or similar tools

Proven experience with concurrency, multithreading, and distributed system architectures

Ability to isolate components within the application stack causing performance issues,

gather evidence and communicate with developers and architects to reach a resolution.

Experience on infrastructure and application performance profiling and tuning.

Experience in Application Performance Monitoring tools such as AppDynamics ,Dyntrace, New Relic, Perfmon, Nmon and others is considered a plus

Experience both in Linux and Windows Operating systems

Solid understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies

Desired Skills:

Strong experience in JMeter

Knowledge in C#, SQL, JavaScript and Web API

Experience with Performance test executions, reporting, and results analysis

Experience with performance test monitoring

experience in performance tests on the web as well as mobile devices and performance test automation with Jenkins CI/CD pipeline.

Exposure to Heap Dump, Thread Dump, AWR Analysis and Java GC analysis

Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

Deep understanding of Kafka is a plus

Deep understanding of Relational Database is a plus

Deep understanding of any NoSQL Database is a plus
