Job Summary
Business analysts are data specialists who contribute to organizational improvement by gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports, and introducing process improvements throughout the reporting process. They provide a link between raw enterprise data and management, so data extraction, analysis and transformation are key job responsibilities.Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance spreadsheets and databases functionality like usage of forms, templates and logic functions
- Decompose high level business needs into functional needs by understanding problem and determining data needs.
- Extract, filter and aggregate data through logical queries and basic programming.
- Develop and create data layout like tables, charts, graphs and process flow diagrams.
- Handle information processed confidentiality and proprietary nature of database.
- Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks.
- Develop cross group and cross functional reports for proper support
- Analyze user data needs and determine needs resolved through automated repeatable process.
- Research, present and resolve issues.
- Prepare transparent standard reports and analyze to support business needs.
- Handle small projects, present results and meet deadlines by collaborating multiple projects.
- Document business requirements to depict user needs
Key Skillset
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access
- Experience using BI tools like (PowerPivot, MSBI, Tableau etc) to provide profound data visualizations
- Ability to think analytically, problem-solving skills and quantitative skills
- Attention to detail and a natural aptitude for numbers/ High level of numeracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and business acumen
- Customer centric and a Go-Getter attitude
- Manage time and priorities set timelines, coordinate tasks for yourself and with others
- Apply teamwork skills to a range of situations and ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- Flexible approach in adapting to changing priorities, necessary to support the business
- Conduct process related training programs for team/site managers/decision makers
- Work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented, rapidly changing environment
- An associate with more than 5 years of experience in the relevant field of Reporting
- Flexible to work in Shifts is a Mandate
