Roles & Responsibilities

• Define the strategic vision of the enterprise through the integration of IT architecture solutions, complex design patterns, technical strategy and blueprints which forms the basis for application architecture across the enterprise
• Define complex architectural strategy and direction of multiple and diverse application /data/network disciplines on a variety of multi-platform systems
• Develops company business system architecture plans and reviews cost and feasibility of system requests while ensuring the plan supports the strategic needs of the company
• Develop highly complex solutions that exemplify quality optimization in regards to reliability, availability, scalability, manageability, flexibility, usability /reusability and high performance
• Provides high level mentoring to other team members by educating them on complex architecture approach across their respective business domains
• Create and present technical information in order to influence and gain the understanding of the business as well as technical roles across the organization
• Provide effective consulting on complex projects including RFP technical evaluations for an assigned business domain
• Work with a small team of engineers, to analyze current software stack and define new system architecture
• Develop quantitative benchmarks to assess the performance of new architecture vis- -vis current architecture, prototype, characterize and test new technology stack
• Research technologies and lead POC development, to ensure feasibility
• Lead the creation of technical design documents and lead the communication of the architectural vision across functional areas.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews for projects that require complex technical solutions
• Review code, lead refactoring activities, provide guidance from a technical perspective for all SE members of a project

Desired Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise in software re-architecture and implementation
• Hands-on experience with Microservices, Dockers, implementing high performance and high availability design patterns
• Languages and frameworks: Expert in Enterprise Java and Spring Framework, or Python for deployment automation.
• Stronghold on latest technologies, SaaS architecture, design pattern to lead long term scalable, stable and flexible cloud solutions with security, OWASP and SOC2 compliance.
• Expert in leveraging open sources real-time streaming, messaging and persistence components.
• Embodies test-driven-development and full end-to-end test automation for distributed systems
• Experience evaluating 3rd party solutions for integration opportunities
• Experience in quantitative system performance characterization and modelling
• Strong experience in multi-tenant application modelling/configuration/customization, process orchestration, services orchestration, and enterprise-grade authentication services and external system integration frameworks.
• Strong, proven problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly analyze the most expedient method to recover business operations
• Exceptional customer service skills, in addition to extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with users, executives and senior leaders at all levels
• Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Excellent skills in critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions (e.g., partnering, conflict management, mediation, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Loves to explain the technology and has a gift for concisely explaining complex topics
