Position Summary:

• Frontend software developer to build and maintain Client's US, EU and APAC storefronts on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) and Salesforce B2B (Cloud Craze).
• Experience in Demandware platform and its reference application, Understanding of SFRA and SGJC,
• SFCC Certification must for B2B and B2C
• 2-4 years of experience in release management and change management in a production environment
  Advanced Experience with e-commerce platforms, B2B (Formally Cloud Craze), B2C (Formally Demandware)

Key Responsibilities:

• Building cross-browser, cross-device compatible pages adhering to industry best practices.
• Developing templates and content slots using ISML, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX and integrate with Pipelines/Controllers on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform
• Developing templates and content slots using Visualforce pages, components, Apex classes, triggers etc. on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) platform
• Initiate and Oversee certification process with SFCC for newly developed code for B2B and B2C
• Maintaining existing code and assets and troubleshooting bugs within a complex, global code base
• Provide level of effort for all projects, as well as provide direction on scope and determine overall feasibility
• Create and document development specifications and work completed
• Active participation through all phases of the development lifecycle
• Provide status updates and communication on projects to e-commerce business users and other stakeholders
• Drive web development initiatives to continually enhance and optimize e-commerce infrastructure

Requirements:

• B.Tech or a related degree, or commensurate experience. 2+ years of experience as a front end developer.
• Sound knowledge and experience on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), B2B (Cloud Craze) and standard platform capabilities.
• Knowledge on System/Custom objects, creating cartridges to integrate with 3rd party APIs and Services.
• Knowledge on programming best practices like collective code ownership and test driven development is a plus.
• Mastery of HTML5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript; Cross-browser compatibility, W3C compatibility
• Familiarity with code repository systems (SVN, Git)
• Responsive design experience (or similar mobile and tablet work)
• Experience converting and/or slicing PSDs to CSS (or similar)
• Experience with standard JavaScript Frameworks/APIs such as Angular/jQuery/React is a plus.
• Understanding of and experience with mobile and web based design constraints, editors, browser platforms and their differences.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Self-directed and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated flexibility and collaboration in fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to provide insight, thoughts and contribute feedback to the team on various projects from a technical perspective.
• Adaptability to pick up and work without supervision.
