Job Description Scrum Master Description: Atyeti is looking for a Scrum Master, experienced in managing data teams in a regulatory environment. Data teams are at the forefront of our services to the financial sector, and managing those teams often takes a unique understanding of the data process and regulatory space. We are looking for exceptional candidates to lead our teams in providing exciting and challenging solutions to major financial institutions. What You ll Do: Be the guardian of medium to large, fairly complex scrum teams Raise impediments and remove roadblocks/distractions, resolving challenges quickly and positively Facilitate medium to large team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives, across multiple teams Align your teams around clear goals and encourage direct, positive involvement in all aspects Grow confidence of teams to experiment, iterate, evolve, and learn Ensure full transparency with velocity, burn down/up reporting, and communicating team progress with value focused metrics Collaborate with Product Owners in backlog grooming Leverage your expertise to change mindsets, empower team members, and build great teams Other Job Duties: Consistently improve the process / product and take and receive direct feedback on what s working and what s not Lead and influence others, including those more senior on best practices Anticipate and respond to changes in direction, priority, and sprint performance Supports and empowers the teams to make appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition What You Have: Advanced knowledge of Jira / Confluence / CA PPM (Clarity) / CA Rally or similar tools Knowledge of and experience in the regulatory space Advanced knowledge of agile methodology and scaled framework like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe etc. Advanced skills in Stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication Advanced planning skills with strong estimation experience in a scrum format Ability to bring out the best in others and lead by example Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively with diverse personality types Analytical, planning and organizational skills, and a talent for managing competing demands Experience managing continuous build and integration environments Bonus: Experience managing data teams / knowledge of data professions and roles within the data lifecycle Experience as a data professional Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Bachelor's or Master's degree is CS or related field with at least 2 years of industry experience Additional Information Nice to Have: Good Interpersonal skills with experience of working with people spread across locations / time-zones Good written and oral communication skills. Experience of working in Investment Banking Technology Should be able to work independently and within team Ability to work effectively under pressure, challenging deadlines
