Job Summary

The business development executive will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet with potential clients. The business development executive will be responsible to research client business referrals, network, and web leads; provide prospective customers/clients with all services offered and additional presentations as needed, and work with clients to create solutions for their needs and consult throughout the sales process. Going Forward this role can metamorphose into a Country Manager or Leading a Clutch of Distributor Led countries.

Experience : Preferably 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing or BD environment especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Outstanding freshers are also welcome.

  • Able to work at with all stakeholders and in multi-cultural environment within the Company and Group.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands on experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Good organizational and presentation skills including time management
  • Excellent English both verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented as well as possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour
  • Able to communicate with C-Level Executives professionally and confidently
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Ability to work in a multicultural milieu as well as adaptive in different countries both in terms of Food and Living since this job also entails travel to multiple countries
  • Understanding the product portfolio of the company for both existing products and under development product
  • Understanding the regulatory aspects of the product as per each market or geographies
  • Preparing a business case for each product by coordinating with each country representative and presenting the same to the management for better decision making process
  • Exploring new market opportunities for the company in line with the regulatory aspects applicable to the company which may involve overseas travelling with objective to get business for the company
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
  • Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
