This is a Senior Finance Specialist- General Accounting (GA) role, reporting to the Finance Team Lead - GA in Business Area Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore which provides defined services to the internal customers with best quality in the most efficient way.

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions.
• Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies.
• Executing accounting analyses and reports in support of finance and business leaders.
• Producing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing, and application of funds to assist in financial decision making.
• Performing month end book closing activities.

Your background

• Bachelors or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries.
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R).
• Candidate should be flexible with shift timings.
• Good communication skills.
• Working knowledge in MS office.
