This is a Project Fusion: Integration Analyst role, reporting to the Project Fusion Integration Lead in Global Business Services (GBS) located in Bangalore. In this global project role, you will be accountable for the assigned deliverables of system integrations from/to Workday in the context of Project Fusion. You will be transforming HR delivery for ABB globally by moving from todays dispersed HCM landscape to an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons for superior user experience for employees, line managers, HR professionals and applicants. You will also be responsible for timely delivery of the required integrations by internal or external development (including the management of design, change, risk, issue, testing, decision and defect logs) which is vital for the successful activation of the new system.

Your responsibilities

  • Developing the systems integration strategy, governance and framework together with the Project Fusion Integration Lead and the Workday Integration team.
  • Ensuring implementation of the assigned integrations needed for the consistency, efficiency of the overall process and information integration between different applications, both global and local.
  • Holding close relationship and staying up to date regarding other projects identified with an impact to this program and providing relevant input to the Integration Lead for coordination and planning.
  • Identifying required resources out of IS, complementing this with input from the functional workstream and feeding the outcome into the overall integration planning.
  • Coordinating and monitoring day to day project work with all internal and external resources and ensuring the proper preparation of process integration of overall process.
  • Preparing and providing input for the integration lead for enabling decision making and owning integration design and implementation documentation in the Fusion project.
  • Ensuring audit compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other regulations for accessing to and use of personal data within the company.
  • Leading effectively through a performance management culture which will be driving the companys values and successfully meeting/exceeding all relevant targets and objectives within the business.

Your background

  • Graduate/post-graduate degree in Business Management, HR or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of work experience and knowledge in several fields of HR Business Processes, HRIS, Human Capital Management Systems and HR Master Data in roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multi-cultural management.
  • Experience with Workday is highly favorable and must have strong leadership with vision and ambition.
  • Strong analytical thinking and good communication skills to organize a global community of HR business process specialists and IS specialists towards the common solution within the given timelines.
  • Must have passion for quality and speed, creativity and readiness for innovation to break new ground, integrity when dealing with highly sensitive data, can do attitude and resilience.
  • Collaborative working style appreciating the inclusion of geographies, levels, functions and cultures along with developing others.
  • Proven integration and data modelling experience by having successfully worked in global deployment projects in the HR domain.
  • Professional proficiency in English, MS Office, digital collaboration tools/platforms.
