Software Test Engineer Job in Artificial Learning Systems

Job Description:

Testing all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, regression and service using different techniques Providing regular feedback on testing and resolution status, including metrics, trace the result to quality risk and report it/escalate as appropriate to concerned people Roles & Responsibilities: Conduct both Manual Testing and Automated Testing (Selenium/QTP) Understand the application and prepare/execute test-plan, test cases using technical requirements and design as input for API Testing Work with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases Understand SDLC of the company and use the understanding while designing testing plans. Write and execute medium level to complex level SQL queries Test front-end applications, backend processes and databases Analyze test results, perform data validation, track defects and provide regular status updates Candidate Profile: 3-5 years relevant experience in Manual and Automated Testing areas Has understanding of the software development life cycle as well as the business approach for the product Has good analytical skills, decision making capabilities Self-motivated, detail oriented Able to work in a team as well as an individual Able to work under pressure and maintain deadline Able to join immediately Preferred skillset: Exposure on J-meter and writing unit tests for API testing (Scripts can be written in any language) Expertize in testing application features Expertize in performance testing of application, UI and database systems Expertize in automation testing Sound Testing and Analytical skills Expertize in debugging issues Good understanding of Linux OS File Systems Networking Disk IO Good to have: Experience of working in an ISO enforced work environment (if it is ISO 13485, all the better!) Willingness to learn and work on Python and Cassandra.
