Job Summary
Minimum 4 years of application development experience.
Should be strong in any ETL tools
Should be strong in Shell Scripting
Should be very strong in SQL
Should have good hands on experience in Teradata and Teradata utilities like mload/tpt/fastload
Exposure to ELT framework is an added advantage.
Exposure to GCP Tools Like BigQuery is an added advantage.
Experience working in Python.
Experience in working directly with the customer.
Understand customer requirements and come up with the estimate.
Work independently to provide quality delivery based on customer requirement.
Passion to learn systems and customer business and come up with solutions to business pain points.
Experience in working with Agile Projects.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Healthcare knowledge preferred
Should be flexible to work during overlap hours up to 8:30 PM IST based on business requirements.
Should attend offshore, onsite and client meetings as per the requirements.
Should practice and exhibit UST s core values at work: humility, humanity, and integrity. Having experience on MS SQL and Oracle is mandatory
Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL server and Oracle databases Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
Design, develop and implement database systems based on customer requirements.
Prepare design specifications and functional documentations for assigned database projects. Develop database tables and dictionaries.
Ensure data quality and integrity in databases.
Identify any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.
Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development. Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects.
Test databases and perform bug fixes.
Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion.
Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency. Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
Proficiency in Java, Hibernate and JPA
Proficient understanding of version control like Git
Health care domain experience preferred but no mandatory
