Job Summary Engineering Sr. Front-End Developer Mumbai, Full-time | Compensation negotiable We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to solve complex problems, build usable, high-performance, pixel-perfect applications. Responsibilities will include using modern technologies to solve complex problems at scale, translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer, Backend developer and bridge the gap between UI design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides, defining how the application looks as well as how it works. Responsibilities
  • 1. Collaborate closely with Backend Developers, Copywriters, UX Designers, and UI Designers to partner on design and Backend decisions, choices, and tradeoffs.
  • 2. Develop high-fidelity user-facing application front-end code, matching design mockups and requirement documents to pixel-perfection.
  • 3. Evaluate implementation feasibility of UX/UI designs and frontend business logic within the constraints of the project
  • 4. Build reusable code, patterns and libraries for future development using best practices
  • 5. Optimize code/builds for performance and scale, and where applicable, search engines. Guidelines for these will be provided.
  • 6. You will design the interface of a wide range of products from websites to complex, data-driven web applications.
  • 7. Make strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities.
  • 8. Onboard and mentor new team members.
  • 9. Write modular frontend business logic
  • 10. Implement and maintain frontend architecture and build processes.
  • 11. Architect, code, test, and monitor the front-end, ensuring quality and performance.
    • Requirements
  • 1. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • 2. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 3. Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • 4. Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  • 5. In-depth understanding of the entire frontend development process (design, development and deployment)
  • 6. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML, CSS and JS.
  • 7. Ability to write modular/reusable CSS
  • 8. Understanding of CSS preprocessors, such as Sass and Less.
  • 9. Proficient understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.
  • 10. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • 11. Proficient understanding / knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.
  • 12. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • 13. Proficient understanding of SCM tools such as GitHub, BitBucket, etc.
  • 14. Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • 15. Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Mocha
