Data Scientist/ Senior Data Scientist Job in Arcadia

What we re looking for: We are looking for multiple Data Scientists across product, marketing, sales, operations, and corporate metrics to join our analytics teams. Our data scientists will conduct in-depth analysis and build models to derive insight on and predict key business drivers and identify opportunities to optimize the business ultimately contributing significantly to Arcadia s growth trajectory. What you ll do: Use a range of analytics techniques, including advanced data science and modeling, to identify the most critical business levers, gain insight into trends and causality, and predict future patterns. Develop a deep understanding of Arcadia s business and data nuances and use that to inform anything from metrics frameworks (for the corporate space) to data-based automation and tooling opportunities (for the operations analytics space) Build strong, proactive relationships with stakeholders, including leadership, to identify and champion opportunities to use analytics to create business value Communicate insights and recommendations across the organization, including to leadership, ensuring the business understands the implications and recommendations from analytics findings Build a range of data visualizations, from dashboards to in-depth charts and write-ups, to contribute to shared organizational knowledge. Mentor other teammates and, as one of the first senior hires to the analytics team, help build team culture and best practices What will help you succeed Must-haves: 5+ years in data science, statistics, data analytics, or related field Consistent record of conducting proactive data analysis, distilling actionable insights and recommendations, and telling a story with data Deep knowledge of and applied experience with advanced analytics techniques, including predictive analytics and data science models Strong communication skills, including with leadership, and strong collaboration skills with both analysts and stakeholders Strong command of Python or R and fluency with SQL Significant experience working independently, including comfort managing a combination of fast-paced ad hoc work and long-term projects Proven track record of articulating and getting buy-in for opportunities to create value from large data projects Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
