Job Summary

Job Description Corporate Accountant is responsible for handling the full sets of company accounts for the offices in APAC & MENA Region. Functions: Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller to manage and control all aspects of the financial functions Preparation of timely & accurate journal entries (with supporting documentation )for month ned close, quarter close and accounting transactions Preparation of monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting & ledger maintenance. Handle ad-hoc projects Responsible for accounting operations of the business, ensuring compliance with group deadlines and statutory requirements Assist in dealing with the external auditor and other professional parties (Tax consultant etc.) Develop and maintain proper internal control policies and procedures on financial, operation, accounting system and functions for the Group and its operating subsidiaries Cash Management and Forecasting Participate in ad hoc assignments or other projects Prepare monthly P&L & BS variance analysis for reporting to Senior management Requirements: Degree holder in Accounting /Finance and other related business discipline. Experienced knowledge of IFRS would be an asset. Experience with Financial force and Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage. C.A., CWA., or equivalent qualification is an advantage Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a sizable business Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Power Point Good management skill, analytical mind, self-initiative and well organized Candidates with less experience with be considered for Corporate Accountant role Good command in written and spoken English.
