Position description:

• Design, develop, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work.
• Design scalable high through put set up curbing the latency and managing memory usage. HA experience. HA Proxy, Nginx understanding. Good experience in design patters.
  
• Responsible for forecasting problems before they arise and quickly reacting to problems that have already manifested themselves in the production environment.
  
• Operating System Hardening and Fine tuning
  
• Provide operational support to all of the company's production servers /web services/ applications and ensures uptime and scalability.
  
• Co-ordinate closely with Software engineering teams on to their day to day operations, implementations and deployment activities on staging, QA and production environments. Maintain comprehensive documentation on the Incident procedures.

• Building software and automation to help operations and support teams
  
• Monitoring and fixing support escalation issues, conducting post-incident reviews
• Documenting tribal knowledge

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performance Engineering, Monitoring, Site reliability, trouble shooting, Memory and CPU utilization, server provisioning etc

Required Knowledge:

• Working experience on cloud computing EC2 Spot instances, KAFKA queues, Lambdas etc.
• Experience on DevOps/Site Reliability Engineers to manage/perform system, authorizations, upgrades etc.
  
• Good in java, golang or any other OOPS concepts. Thorough with OOPS concepts.
  
• Database optimization, NoSQL, RDBMS, big data, etc. good in Data structure and algorithm.
  
• Understanding of app server / web server. Good in tomcat, nginx etc.
  
• Multi-threading concepts. MPM module, how to take thread dumps and optimize thread pools
  
• Good knowledge of jmeter, Load testing etc. nice to have JVM understanding
  
• Experience in implementing Production Monitoring solutions using APM tools (Example: AppDynamics, Graylog, Kibana, Dynatrace, Datadog etc.) set up and test proactive monitoring alerts
  
• Experience with Redis, Aerospike, Memcached or any other memory caching or session caching experience.
  
• Good knowledge of elastic search and its components
