Position description:

• Testing Engineer is required to fully test the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs.
• Testing all aspects of the product/system like function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases and also to ensure version management.
• Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
• Providing feedback on usability and serviceability along with other functional and non-functional issues.
• Software Tester is responsible for designing testing scenarios for usability testing. He is responsible for conducting the testing, thereafter analyze the results and then submit his observations to the development team.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify requirement GAPs.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Gather Application Requirement for Testing.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Generate test summary reports for management review.
• Analyze root causes of reported issues and provide corrective actions.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing test procedures
• Working Efficiently Post Working Hours and Off Market Days (Must)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyse and investigate issues found in testing and work to resolve these with the relevant teams i.e. other Testers, Product Owners, Environment teams, Developers and Site Builders

• Min 3 Years Experience in Manual Testing in mobile app. SQL Knowledge preferred. Should have experience in capital market.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of software testing and defect tracking tools (at least one each) JIRA, Bugzilla, Zephyr etc.
• Testing Coordination experience Full understand of End to End mobile/web application test process and experience on how and when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev or System admins.
• Excellent Soft Skills (Communication via email, phone, live-meeting etc.)
• Experience with Agile/ Waterfall development methodologies MS Office (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, & Word)
• Preferred certification / Trainings: ASTQB-Mobile Testing, ISTQB Foundation Level, NCFM Beginner (Must), NCFM Dealer, NCFM Commodity, Another Testing Certification
