Software Engineer - Qa Job in Analytics Quotient

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test planning, design, execution and automation for various applications and subsystems.
• Perform software quality assurance, including data testing, black box testing, white box testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
• Automate data tests and functional tests using available and open-source tools and technologies.
• Learn and employ automation tools like Selenium, Ruby Develop and document test scripts, test cases, defect tracking and reports.
• Create and maintain manual and/or automated test scripts, test data, and other deliverables related to the software quality assurance (SQA) process.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate(BE/B.Tech)/ Masters(ME/M.Tech/MS) in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institute with 2+ years(Software Engineer)/ 4+ years (Senior Software Engineer) hands on testing experience.
• Experience in testing web-based products/applications.
• Experience in writing and executing test scripts using automation tool Selenium.
• In-depth knowledge of test planning, test case creation and test case execution.
• Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server/MySQL databases with proficiency in writing queries and in data testing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, often with changing requirements.
• Experience with all phases of software testing (Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, and Release Management).
• Experience in diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.
• Experience maintaining test environments, automated testing tools, and other resources in support of software quality assurance process.
• Team player with an inclusive approach to decision making.
• Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Test-Driven Development is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
