Job Description:
Amazon is seeking Sr.FinOps Specialist - Controllership (L5-IC) to support Payroll controllership. Were looking for a self- motivated candidate that not only has high analytical skills with super attention to detail but also possess superior inter personal and communication skills, and is comfortable working independently. An extreme bias for action to stay ahead on the external audit requests and able to meet the audit timelines as per the calendar schedule. Work with Operations to collate data in a central repository and share with external auditors post internal reviews. Work on global projects and take ownership and ensures Amazon's payroll processes stay ahead of risks associated with growth in areas of process design, internal control effectiveness, computer system integration, and other relevant areas. The preferred candidate to have outstanding auditing skills, project management, problem solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the global external audit team and liaison with operation on the audit requests.
- Building key engagement mechanisms to engage service owners, auditors to meet audit schedules, SLAs, Metrics requirements.
- Executing on a collaborative audit roadmap in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing leadership relationships and communications to service teams and stakeholders of the audit programs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
. MBA / M.com or equivalent degree
12+ years of relevant audit experience (internal/ external audits)
Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholder
Flexible to work in shifts
Strong analytical skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience in Payroll
Ability to manage through influence
Self-starter, possess flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations
