Job Summary

DESCRIPTION

The role resides within the India Consumer Insights team and will own market research, competitive intelligence tracking and voice of customer to deepen the understanding of customer health and behavior for the India consumer business. This is a high visibility role that will require working extensively with the stakeholders in defining and executing research studies, ensuring timely delivery and dissemination of research outputs and working closely with external agency partners to support these research initiatives. This role requires expertise in consumer research, along with excellent analytical and communication abilities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with strong attention to detail with an ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and an ability to influence at various levels of management.
Responsibilities
Identify requirements and prioritize research briefs based on the analysis of existing customer health and behavior.
Employ the best research method(s) based on research questions, timeline and resourcing.
Drive insightful and actionable results that drive tactical and strategic product innovations through Data Analysis
Communicate results and opportunities articulately to senior management.
Deliver impact, as measured by impact to the customer health goals and program roadmap.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4 to 7 years experience in Market Research
Managed competitive intelligence initiatives (brand tracks, Nielsen RMS, HHP Panel)
Experience on the research vendor side or within the research groups and forums
Direct experience leading studies across with various methodologies: online quant surveys, focus groups, 1:1, ethnos, online qual, mobile
Superior written and verbal communication
Strong ability to communicate and influence within multiple levels of the organization
Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
Masters degree in business, economic, statistics or mathematics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Good understanding of research methodologies around studying customer health, marketing and brand initiatives.
Have experience of managing empanelled studies
Prior experience in ecommerce domain is a plus
Excellent project management skills - ability to manage multiple projects with critical deadlines
Experience with various statistical techniques (regression analysis, coefficient correlation)
