Amazon.coms Buying Experience team is looking for talented, motivated and passionate software engineers to be part of the design and development of automation frameworks, productivity tools and instrumentation solutions that will be used for automation testing, development and performance measurement of highly scalable multi-tiered shopping application to provide the best possible online shopping experience for Amazon customers world-wide. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelors or master's degree in computer science or related field
3+ years of professional experience in software development
Strong in design patterns, algorithms, data structures and problem solving
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Java or C++

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in designing, building and maintaining real-time and large-scale web applications
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Strong understanding of system and application performance characteristics
Excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment
Good understanding of highly available systems
