Retail Business Services (RBS) is an integral part of Amazon online product lifecycle and buying operations. The team is designated to ensure Amazon remains competitive in the online retail space with the best price, wide selection and good product information. The teams primary role is to create and enhance retail selection on the worldwide Amazon online catalog.

About the team:
Depending on the team you will be part of, you will have the opportunity to support and contribute to one of the key processes within RBS, which will impact customers experience, such us:
Offering support to vendors/manufacturer by validating the information received from them and uploading the content on Amazons catalog, creating new product detail pages or improving the already existing ones (product description/content/etc)
Ensuring that the website content is accurate and up to date by analyzing website customer reviews, assigning products to the correct categories so that customers can easily find the products they need, performing quality audits to be sure everything that appears on the Amazon websites respects companys standards
Resolving defects both at the warehouse and at the customer side by analyzing the available data and using internal tools, proposing corrective actions to prevent future similar problems that might appear at the customer or at the supply chain level.



Job Description:
The Senior Associate Catalog position offers an introduction to our online retail business and a broad training ground for future success. The successful Senior Associate Catalog is an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver, and is able to balance the needs and requirements of both Amazon.com and strategic vendors. He or she must be able to effectively engage with vendors to improve selection, profitability and help their business grow. The Senior Associate Catalog will also engage with many internal business partners to achieve best-in-class vendor onboarding operations and exceed ambitious goals


Roles and Responsibilities:
This includes, but is not limited to:


Work with the prospective leads and convert them as Amazon.com Vendor.
Work with vendors from the time of launch to increase the selection.
Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of their products.
Suggest process improvements and assist internal partners to drive them to completion.
Prepare and report weekly business review of the program to management.
Flexible with working schedule; expected to work weekends, holidays and night shifts (US hours).
Willingness to take initiatives & responsibilities including 24/7/365 availability, including willingness to work on weekends, and outside of the "standard" work day
Ability to work overtime as dictated by business need; as much as 60 hours a week, most often occurring in the weeks surrounding the Christmas holiday season

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications/Skills and Competencies

Bachelor's degree
1.5+ years of successful inside sales or client management experience, preferably in the eCommerce, retail technology, Business Process Outsourcing (Call Center).
Exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to build relations and influence others authority.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive attitude, detail-oriented, and a team player
Proficient in Excel
Preferred Qualification and Experience in call calling, prospecting and qualifying sales candidates
Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets.
Experience in any CRM Tool
SQL and VBA Knowledge
