AWS offers a variety of cloud services, and we are looking for a Cloud Support Associate to provide customer support through a variety of channels (telephone, email, and live chat). This role is essential in helping customers navigate technical challenges and offering solutions tailored to their specific needs. Key Job Responsibilities: Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions via phone, email, and web/live chat. Advanced Troubleshooting: Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve issues, ensuring customer satisfaction. Drive Communication: Maintain clear communication with customers, especially during critical events, to ensure effective issue resolution. Collaboration: Work closely with leading technologists and other teams to resolve customer issues and enhance customer experience. Continuous Learning: Learn and apply new cloud technologies, while developing expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure. Basic Qualifications: 0-1 year of experience in one of the following areas: Linux Systems Administration Database Design and Optimization Big Data Analysis Network Administration DevOps Programming or scripting experience (Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP) Troubleshooting and customer support experience Strong oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge of OS concepts/Linux/Unix systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc.) Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS) and databases Strong customer focus and multitasking abilities Exposure to cloud computing technologies About the Team: AWS provides a comprehensive set of infrastructure and application services to run virtually anything in the cloud from enterprise applications to big data projects and mobile apps.
