Job Summary
As an SFMC Engineer you will be the main point of contact for the SFMC Team. You will be responsible for leading the team to make improvements on SFMC and guiding/mentoring other SFMC Engineers. In addition to working with other SFMC Engineers, you will also work closely with data engineers, solution architects, analysts, and project managers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple SFMC business units
- Collaborate with cross functional business teams to develop technical solutions utilizing SFMC tools: Journey Builder, Data Extensions, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Audience Builder, Interaction Studio, Datorama
- Guide and mentor other SFMC Engineers
- Platform Support
- Lead discussions on how to improve devOps
- Monitor automation and journey failure alerts and resolve failures
- Be aware of product release and how that impacts our business
- Data Development
- Map data across multiple data sources, driving standardization and creating workflows that support personalization in customer communications
- Creating queries/joining tables, Automations, data modeling, integrations
- Monitor Automations and investigate when issues arise
- Creating and managing data extensions
- Managing Publication Lists (ie creating new Publication list for a new program)
- Conducting data audits, cleansing
- Custom Development
- Designing and implementing API integration services
- Designing and implementing cloud pages
- Edit HTML modules/templates
