Job Summary
  • The Tester is expected to:
  • Understand the customer needs and the Application requirements specified by the Systems Engineers and validate the software against it.
  • Write test cases and test plans for each release of the software application.
  • Should follow Project based defect creation and tracking process strictly
    Perform various types of testing like User Acceptance Testing, Feature Testing, Regression Testing, Stress testing etc. as per the agreed test plans.
  • Should follow the project process and responsible for Project Quality and Assurance.
  • Required experience and knowledge
  • 5 to 8 years of strong Application Software Testing experience.
  • Should have good experience in Web based Applications testing.
  • Experience in the following programming language: Python.
  • Experience in at least one of the following frameworks: Robot Framework, Selenium
    Should have good understanding on software development processes like SDLC, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience/knowledge of Unix-based systems and bash scripting
  • Knowledge in continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Exposure to Telecom Wireless (3G/4G/5G) technologies is preferable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Analytical and teamworking skills is required
  • Primary Skills: All Primary skills need to be there.
    a1) Automation(Selenium or Robot), Python
    a2) Testing process & methodologies
  • Secondary Skills: should have skills in at least one area (b) / (c) Telecom knowledge is a higher priority
    b) Telecom knowledge in 2G/3G/4G/5G Network Elements
    c) Networking domain
