Job Summary
  • Tech Specs, Code and/or Unit Test Plans produced are all in line with the Traceability Matrix/Functional Specification
  • Ensure all work is reviewed to ensure adherence to the relevant development standards
  • Peer review and sign-off of others work
  • Timely and accurate reporting of project status as required by Line or Project Manager
  • Production and revision of accurate detailed estimates
  • Escalate product issues and suggest product improvements
  • Escalate all issues in a timely fashion
  • Mentor junior team members in best practices and standards

Qualification :
  • Developer will be responsible for performing complex development tasks involving large SQL Server databases, both on-prem and cloud based (Azure). Will support dependent applications and maintenance efforts.
  • Will create source to target mappings and ETL design for integration of data streams into data warehouse/operational data store/data marts.
  • Will write and maintain complex T-SQL procedures, Views, and other DML in support of dependent applications.
  • Will develop Azure components required for data delivery in support of dependent applications.
  • Will create and maintain Microsoft PowerBI reports as well as development with PowerApps..
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong SQL development and unit testing skills.
  • Will create and maintain data design related artifacts i.e. data models , mapping documents, architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams
  • Ability to perform Data profiling and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
  • Will work in an Agile development environment.
  • Must be able to excel in onsite-offshore environment.
  • Ability to create Process Flows using Visio.
  • Ability to validate the ETL design, solutions, and transformation logic and ensure that technical specifications are complete, consistent, concise, and achievable.
  • Ability to work closely with client and end users, participate in ETL architecture design reviews, perform ETL unit testing and code reviews if needed
  • Will be proactive and diligent in identifying and communicating scope, design, development issues and recommending potential solutions
  • Create other technical artifacts needed for project implementation
