Job Description South Indian Chef Job Summary We are looking for a chef to join our team and prepare lip-smacking dishes for our customers. The primary responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing first-class dishes. If you have experience with great and advanced cooking techniques, we would like to meet you! Ultimately, the chef will be responsible for preparing and delivering a complete menu to our guests. Duties & Responsibilities: Be familiar with sanitation regulations Setting up of the kitchen with cooking utensils, equipment, cutlery etc Cook food in a timely manner Assign tasks to kitchen staffs Ensure the safety and hygiene of the kitchen Supervise cooks and offer assistance whenever needed Experiment with new recipes Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations Modify recipes to meet customers needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy) Requirements: Proven work experience as a chef or cook Good communication skills Great time management skills Strong organizational skills Ability to do multi-tasking Leadership skills Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pasta makers) Location: Mohali, sunny enclavCity: Mohali
