Job Description:

JD for Senior Telecom Testing Engineer

In this position, will provide opportunity to work on validating 4G/5G packet core solutions in a cloud native environment with Control, User Plan separation.

Tasks:

Testing, Integration on LTE, 5G-NR, Legacy conformance test systems
Continuous Integration, Defect tracking, Releases, Quality Assurance
Log Analysis, Debugging of issues, protocol logs in LTE, LTE Advanced, NB-IoT ,5G-NR , 5G-Core
Co-ordination with development, support team for product support and releases with Vendors.
Write and Prepare SOP for Protocol Testing
Understand, Prepare and review Test requirements & Design, develop, and execute test cases for LTE/5G Core Network

Overall Responsibilities:
Perform Technical Audit and Penetration & Vunlerability Testing as per SOP and ISO 17025 standard
Prepare detailed documentation of each steps and results of DUT(Device Under Test)
Maintain Documentation Versions for each DUT
Implement and perform quality control for entire security testing project
Responsibility for ensuring the implementation, enhancement, monitoring, and enforcement of the information security policy framework to ISO 27001, ISO 17025 Standards;
Responsibility for ensuring the that junior team follows SOP

Required qualifications:
Education Requirements Bachelor - University - Engineering
Experience of LTE, LTE-Advanced Protocols
Experience with 5G-NR Radio and Core protocols
Advanced knowledge of HTTP2/JSON, Diameter is desirable.
Experience experience with log analysis, debugging.
Experience working with real hardware systems in the lab
4 6 years industrial experience in above profile.
Good communication skill to work with the different team in different geographical areas
Knowledge of any Bug Tracking Tool
Knowledge on Automation testing is added advantage
Knowledge of Wireless Procedures : Registration/De-Registration, Attach/Detach, Session Establishment, RRC Reconfiguration etc.
Understanding of 3GPP standards documents for technical issue resolution
Any scripting proficiency is Advantage.
