Job Summary
Job Description
Data Entry Clerk to type information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail.- Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
- Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re-entering data.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards.
- Type in data provided directly from customers
- Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail Education and Experience Requirements:
- 10th pass or PUC
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
