Job Summary

The Role:

As a Service Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective service delivery for Alfa Laval's customers in the Middle East and South & East Africa. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Service Agreements: Coordinate and manage service agreements for customers in the region.
  • Customer Liaison: Work closely with customers to plan and coordinate service jobs that meet their specific needs.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Manage service engineer work schedules and ensure jobs are executed efficiently.
  • Order Management: Monitor order backlogs, credit queries, and service hour booking.
  • Resource Management: Monitor and effectively utilize field service engineers (FSEs) on service agreement jobs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor FSEs in competence development programs.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze service agreement data and report findings to management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-5 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably in a technical field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong data analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
    • Structured, quality, and cost-conscious approach.
    • Flexibility, independence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
    • Experience with CRM systems and planning tools.
    • Knowledge of data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI) is a plus.

A Graduate in Engineering / Business or any equivalent discipline.
