Job Summary

Key Area Responsibility:

Knows about Do & Don't of underwriting
Can depute surveyor whenever required
Must have sound knowledge of latest IIB and other insurer rack rates
Should carry good relationship with the insurer U/W departments
Can design & generate the RFQ for the commercial line of business
Can evaluate & determine the risk coverage required by the applicants
Can negotiate with insurer as and when required on behalf of the insurer
Ensure compliance to the internal process, audit and regulatory processes
If required must ready to meet client at the time renewal or servicing policy
Responsible for the policy issuance, endorsement and section 64 VB compliance
Must be aware about the expected preferred line of business of insurance companies
Responsible for design and setting up liability portfolio for the company if any arise
Preparation of Quote Formats for commercial line of Business for SME & Large corporate
Can Re-evaluate & Suggest require risks of an existing insurance contract on behalf of the customer
Must have sound knowledge of fire, marine, engineering, liability and employee benefits products
Formulate and implement business development strategy for market to build and grow its books with profitability
Can coordinate with customer for finding additional information, if required before issuing the policy to determine the risk correctly
