Sr. Ui Designer Job in Akken Technologies

We are looking for creative and enthusiastic Sr. UI Designer to join our IT Team. He / She should be able to take ownership of application interface designs to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Visualize and design user interface for web and mobile applications.


• Developing functional prototypes and mock ups with respect to cross browsers.


• Should be artistic and creative with a good vision to select size, colors, textures, shapes etc. to create the layout and arrangement of different elements.


• Developing HTML, HTML5 optimized/cross-platform front-end code. Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages.


• Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator.


• Works closely with onsite team to obtain and understand business requirements.


• Work with PHP developers to apply style and user interface design to web site, mobile app.


• Ability to work independently.


• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

• 5+ years of experience as UI Designer.


• Hand on experience on HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dreamweaver.


• Experience in Javascript & Jquery will be added advantage.


• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.


• Proficiency with cross browser compatibility issues and corresponding fixes.


• Very good written and spoken English language skills.
