Role Summary :The role holder will support the Director to plan, manage and execute the admissions process from point of inquiry through to enrolment of students in the University and will contribute to the achievement of enrolment objectives. This includes supporting the day-to-day operations and functioning of Undergraduate Admissions, implementing admissions operations and financial aid policies with the highest degree of integrity, while delivering an empathetic, responsive student experience. The position offers the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team with a wide array of responsibilities in a busy, academic environment.

Responsibility:

  • Work closely with the Director to develop admission, outreach and financial aid policies for the university.
  • Spearhead the admission operations including the application review process and execute processing of applications to undergraduate programmes, implementing admissions policies, while delivering an empathetic, responsive student experience
  • Oversee a team to manage queries through campaigns, including outreach, and implement a robust CRM process to counsel students and their families regarding admissions criteria and University Programmes
  • Interpret the University and its offerings to prospective students and their families, through one-on-one discussions and group interactions while having thorough understanding of admission policies, university policies, regulations, and degree requirements, plan and drive University Open Houses, workshops and other campus events for prospective students and families.
  • Participate in admissions outreach as to increase awareness and build strong relationships to enrol academically bright students pan India and select locations abroad.
  • Ensure strictly merit based selection process with absolute integrity and rigor and to recruit the students without compromise and manage review of applications, including Interactions/counselling sessions to determine the eligibility of candidates in line with undergraduate admissions policy
  • Manage the Admissions communication plan and the distribution of admission content and messages, ensure availability of promotional material that interpret the school to prospective and admitted students, high school educators, parents and the campus community with the support of the Communications team
  • Coordinate with members of the administration including the Programme Offices, Office of Dean of Students and the Office of the Registrar to ensure a seamless University experience for students
  • Monitor data and devise initiatives to recruit student population that is diverse and representative of socio-economic and other criteria, in order to build a diverse campus
  • Conduct training for the Operations team and for evaluators, including TAs and student Ambassadors, and develop and maintenance of procedure manuals and SOPs
  • Streamline and upgrade the process software for Admissions Operations
  • Analyse trends in enrolment and present new strategies for the university enrolment and awareness to draw quality applicants to the university
  • Conduct regular evaluation of the to measure success and for continuous improvement of services
