Job Summary

Level: Assistant Manager

Reporting to: Associate Director, Communications, Ahmedabad University

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Web designing and web development along with day to day web management, administration and content creation as well as maintaining hygiene check on the website.
  • Keep an overview on the blog hosting and liasoning for all technical needs with the vendor, SEM monitoring and creating backlinks.
  • Creating mock ups and ensuring the mock up get implemented as a webpage
  • Manage and process images that are in best practices with the website management.
  • Coordinate with website agencies (Netlink)
  • Managing the sans software development, he has. Managing a CMS like WordPress or Process wire
  • Strategize various marketing channels (mainly SEO and Digital Ads - Google, Facebook and LinkedIn Ads) while advising the Communications director in the effectiveness of such campaigns.
  • Ensure support to admissions team with the implementation of pop ups on various webpages

Key Skills

  • Must be fluent in English (written & spoken)
  • Good with project management and vendor management for web administration
  • Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, SQL database.
  • Ability to develop application independently, given the architecture and functional design.
  • Coding experience is an added advantage.
  • Expertise in data science and analytics.
  • Well versed with aspects of Digital Marketing from analytics & technical perspective
  • Working experience on a live campaign is a must

Qualifications

  • 6 to 8 years of working experience as web application development manager/web administrator
