Mandatory Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience

8+ years of software development experience with Linux and Windows platforms

4+ years of experience in an architectural role designing, development, and implementing open source enterprise solutions, applications, and integrations.

3+ years hands on administration and deployment of Linux servers (i.e. RHEL, Ubuntu, or CentOS) including Bash scripting, Apache and Nginx web servers, and MySQL databases

1+ years hands on administration and deployment with Windows OS environments including PowerShell, IIS, and SQL Server

Excellent customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills will be required to meet with clients on site and/or virtually to gather information for statements of work and client specific solutions

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely

Ideal candidate will have Design through Build project delivery experience

Exposure and experience with scripting and automation technologies

Sees the whole picture and adjusts work accordingly flexibility and thought leadership will be required to accommodate client specific solutions

Detail oriented will be responsible for creating concise and complete documentation that will be used by other teams for execution/reference

Seeking a talented and enthusiastic architect to join our architecture team and work closely with our customers, project managers, architects, UX/UI designers, developers, QA engineers, and system administrators.

You will be participating across the full app life cycle from concept, design, build, deploy, test, release, and support for customer and internal projects. You will also participate in providing overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the corporate business strategy.

We are looking for someone with strong Linux skills and experience but believes the priority for choosing a solution should be based on requirements rather than personal knowledge of a particular technology.

Responsibilities

Analyze architecture pain points to determine the best approach to providing a solution

Review existing business processes and establishes metrics to improve business processes

Promote the architecture process, outcomes, and results to the organization and senior leadership.

Direct the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends

Regularly lead self and others will be required at times to be the sole technical lead for client engagements and internal projects providing support for additional teams that are involved

Determine need for and responsible for installing and configuring server operating systems, applications, and building/utilizing OS provisioning repositories where available

Help architect micro-services based highly scalable and performant architecture

Writes batch and shell scripts (e.g. BASH) for computer systems automation and information gathering automation is key for providing standard and repeatable process

Build, document, and create templates for deployment methodologies will be involved with generating client specific deployment packages as well as associated detailed documentation to be shared with other teams

Installation and configuration of server OS's (i.e. Windows & Linux servers), web servers, and databases - possessing a solid understanding of server operating systems and enterprise class applications

Wear many hats and gain experience with tools, technologies and platforms across many technology stacks.

Work closely and share ideas with fellow architects, developers and project managers.

Work with US and India resources collaborating with other team members

Participate with estimating proposals

Learn new things, and grow rapidly from constant exposure to innovative ideas, concepts, and patterns by continuously researching and evaluating new technologies to keep abreast of current solutions

Desired Qualifications

Knowledgeable with network design, components and computer systems interactions will be required to communicate intelligently and effectively with network and firewall personnel to ensure proper connectivity for client deployments and solutions

Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, and Jira

Experience with containers (e.g. Docker & Kubernetes)

Experience with cloud deployments on Azure
