Job Summary
As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. You will work closely with the finance team to handle various accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, conducting financial analysis, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and coordinate with external auditors.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
