Job Summary
The Real Estate Project Director is responsible for the overall success of real estate development projects, overseeing all aspects from pre-construction to completion. This role requires strong leadership, project management, financial analysis, and strategic thinking skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet shareholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: Project Monitoring: Provide holistic project monitoring, overseeing all functions and ensuring all activities contribute to overall project goals. Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor progress against the plan and implement corrective actions as necessary. Pre-construction Process: Manage the pre-construction process, including securing approvals, permits, and necessary resources. Project Strategy: Drive the development and implementation of project management plans aligned with overall business objectives and shareholder expectations. Business Plan Monitoring: Monitor the annual business plan and adjust project plans as needed to achieve financial targets. Sales and Pricing: Oversee sales operations and develop pricing strategies to optimize project revenue and profitability. Financial Analysis: Monitor project cash flow and financial feasibility, identifying and mitigating potential financial risks. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in a relevant field + postgraduate qualification in Construction Management (NICMAR) or Master of Business Administration (MBA). Experience: Total experience: 15-20 years Relevant experience: 8-10 years of experience in managing large-scale real estate development projects Skills: Expertise in project monitoring and strategy development Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders Problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of real estate regulations and construction processes Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) Strong understanding of real estate market trends Proven negotiation and contract management skills Job Type: Full-time
