Job Summary The Content Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping public discourse by effectively communicating the Group's views on various topics. This individual will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement. The Content Specialist will also stay abreast of emerging communication trends and technologies to ensure the Group's content remains relevant and impactful. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop and write compelling opinion pieces, op-eds, and analytical articles that clearly and concisely convey the Group's perspectives on current events and issues. Ensure content is accessible to a wide audience, avoiding jargon and overly complex terminology. Offer unique insights and fresh perspectives while adhering to the Group's in-house style and meeting deadlines. Content Strategy: Track best practices in the content space globally and implement strategies to increase content impact. Utilize existing tools such as newsletters, newsrooms, websites, emailers, and social media to create engagement and two-way communication with target audiences. Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on emerging communication tools and technologies. Educate stakeholders on the effectiveness and relevance of new tools and technologies. Build buy-in for investment and adoption of appropriate technologies. Qualifications: Education: Graduation degree from a recognized university and a professional qualification in Mass Communication, Media Management, PR, or MBA in Marketing from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institute. Experience: Seasoned journalist or contributing editor with at least 8-12 years of experience in writing op-eds or opinion pieces for national dailies or prominent financial publications. Skills: Ability to conduct independent research and write analytical pieces on diverse subjects. Strong understanding of political and public policy issues. Knowledge of socio-economic fields and legal matters. Experience in developing digital archives and best practices for updation and cross-referencing. Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience in content marketing or social media management Knowledge of SEO and content optimization Proficiency in content management systems and design tools Job Type: Full-time
