Job Summary Responsibilities -Support incorporation of SMS framework incorporating all the four components and its twelve key elements, and maintain, constantly improve -Monitoring of the Safety performance of NMIAL and ensure implementation of safety procedures in all areas of operational management to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices -Lead the collection of NMIAL safety data, analyse and advise the Head of Safety for adverse trends -Conduct of SAG meetings and support, associate with the departmental Safety officers for all safety procedures and corrective actions -Associate in Safety Audits and Safety investigations and advise the HOD for implementation of corrective actions -Preparation of reports for DGCA/AAIB and coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to all safety standards and requirements -Lead safety training programs for employees at all levels of the organization and lead all safety promotion activities -Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations to proactively address potential issues -Champion a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the organization Education Qualification: Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Science or equivalent Master's degree in the related discipline preferred SMS training from an accredited Institute Either Internal auditor/Lead auditor training or Safety Investigator training Advanced Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) - 05 days training is highly desirable Experience: 10-12 years of experience in the Aviation industry out of which minimum 05 years in Aviation Safety Demonstrated track record of implementing safety programs and initiatives Proven experience in carrying our risk assessments, MOC and maintain Hazard log Experience in leading safety teams and fostering a Safety-First culture Strong understanding of DGCA CAR, ICAO Annex-13, 14 and 19, among others for Aviation safety
