Job Role Summary: This role is focused on Payroll Administration and Process Design, involving tasks such as data processing, employee query resolution, payroll validations, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with policies and timelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll systems, process execution, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities: 1. Process Execution: Process HR and payroll data accurately in payroll applications within agreed timelines. Address employee and HR queries related to payroll inputs promptly and accurately. Perform checks on payroll reports, variance analysis, and ensure resolution of payroll issues. 2. Quality and Compliance: Validate and maintain process documentation to ensure compliance. Ensure process controls are followed and update related documents as necessary. 3. Process Improvement: Conduct Root Cause Analysis and suggest corrective actions. Propose and implement process improvement ideas to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 4. Knowledge Transfer and Training: Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the payroll process. Train team members on process updates and maintain documentation such as LWIs (Live Work Instructions). 5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with payroll providers or third-party vendors for research and issue resolution. Support team members and escalate complex issues when necessary. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Perform recurring statutory forms submission and post-payroll registration tasks (e.g., accounting bookings, payments). Maintain high-quality written and verbal communication skills within the team. Skills and Qualifications: Required: Adaptable and flexible with problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Knowledge of Payroll Processes and relevant systems. Strong proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships. Preferred: Experience with SuccessFactors. HR domain certification or payroll certification. Analytical mindset with resilience under pressure. Behavioral Traits: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Professional handling of customer complaints/escalations. Teamwork and collaboration skills with a focus on quality delivery. Work Environment: Shifts: Rotational shifts may be required. Interaction: Limited client exposure, mainly interacting with peers and supervisors.
