Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - UI/ React

Location: Gurugram, India

Job Description

We re looking for an experienced Senior Javascript Developer to join our UI team in Gurugram to build out new functionality, improve our overall architecture and help us complete our transition to a fully React Single-Page App.

The successful candidate will be working closely with our other Javascript Engineers and Front End Developers as well as our in-house UI Designer. They will be responsible for owning development projects from start to completion, designing endpoints with our backend team, and influencing the overall architecture of the application.

What you ll do:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js and dependable UI libraries Build reusable components.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Create unit testing for each delivered module Apply architecture and programming tools, procedures, functions and routines towards delivering the assigned task or activity.
• Possess good knowledge of source code configuration management software involving the check-in / check-out process.
• Participate in reviews and implementation of SDLC methodologies to ensure high-quality software within the schedules and in testing backups, ensuring maximum uptime and maximum performance of the database.
• Possess Problem-solving and lateral thinking skills as part of a team, or individually, to meet the needs of the project.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

• Proven excellence in writing readable and efficient Javascript code in ES2016+
• Experience in React.JS and the surrounding ecosystem (or familiarity with another modern frontend framework)
• Expertise with at least one of the modern state-management frameworks like Redux, MobX, Cycle.js, etc
• Understanding of CSS in JS libraries along with some knowledge of CSS Concepts (Box Model, Collapsed containers etc.).
• Affinity for profiling and analyzing code to identify areas for improvement
• Good understanding of various CI services (Jenkins, Travis, Coveralls, Pipelines, etc)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of functional programming patterns
• Good working knowledge of the DOM
• Familiar with build tools such as Webpack and Gulp
• Excited by working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Able to occasionally travel to the USA headquarters in Redwood Shores, CA
