Job Summary

Role: This role will be responsible for overall functioning and supervision of the Operations Department (Settlement, Trade Processing, for Retail and Wealth Trade Processing, Equity Derivative, Currency Derivative, Commodity Derivative, MF Operations,

IPO/NCD/BOND/FD/Debt Operations, NRI Settlement, PMS (Wealth Management), Debt Operations at 5paisa Capital Ltd. Managing a Team of Senior-Mid and Mid-Junior level employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations vertical is one of the key verticals at 5paisa with a vision to enable to provide support and solution to their clients and other departments on their platforms and systems. Broad responsibilities to achieve this are mentioned below:-
  • Responsible for overall functioning and supervision of the Operations Department (Settlements of Equity, Derivative and Currency Segment, Trade Processing, Mutual Fund Exchange and Distribution, IPO, Bond, NCD, FD and OFS)

  • Trade and Settlement Process : Supervise Trade and Securities Settlement processes viz Trade process, Contract Notes, Margin Statement, Securities Pay-in & Payout, Early Pay-in, Auction Billing, Corporate action processing, Reconciliations, DP Charges. Ensure error free processing & controls.

  • Funds Settlement, Mutual Fund & DP Process: Supervising day to day Funds processing like Bank Reconciliation, Funds Receipts & Payouts, Delayed Payment Charges, DP Charges, Monthly closure etc. Supervise Mutual Funds & DP processes, its review and controls. MF Trade process, SIP Surveillance process, NACH process etc. DP EOD, BOD, DIS processing, Closure processing etc

  • Process Excellence, New Initiatives, and UAT: Leading process improvement and automation, guide team on UAT, set new process as per business requirement. Processes to be automated to ensure better customer experience and less customer queries.

  • Compliance, Audit, & Inspections: Ensure that process are followed and implemented within compliance framework and data is made available for various audits & inspections as required. All regulatory reporting s to be done as per defined timelines.

  • Team Management: Supervise team, Guiding and training as and when required. To boost the team morale for better efficiency and high productivity.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience of 15-20 years in Back Office Operations in Financial Services (Equity Stock Market & Mutual Funds).
  • Candidate having experience into Settlement Operations from BFSI (preferably Stock Broking), NBFC, Wealth Management background can be an advantage
